Chelsea MacMillan

Dedicated to sparking radical and loving collective change.

I am a sacred activist, host of transformational experiences, and community catalyst who lives, plays, and works in Brooklyn, NY (unceded Lenape territory). I believe that every one of us is called to co-create the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. Come dance with me in the spaces between action and contemplation, fierceness and gentleness, expression and silence.

What does it mean to be a Sacred Activist?

Sacred activism is a call for each of us to dedicate our full selves — mind, body, and heart — to the liberation of every creature on this planet. Not only do you have permission to bring your passions, skills, and desires to this path, but you are invited to as you discern your unique calling as a sacred activist. This framework is a map for how personal and collective transformation are inextricably linked. We can not change the world without changing ourselves — and vice versa.

ACTIONS

What does compassion in action look, feel, and sound like? I love getting creative about spiritually-grounded actions that touch hearts and shift collective consciousness. From acts of guerrilla peace and organizing with Extinction Rebellion NYC — check out what I’m up to!

What is sacred activism?

From the Poor People’s Campaign to Standing Rock, sacred activism is shifting the way we make change. Sacred activism is a call to all who are done with false hope and ready to bring their whole selves to a path of radical transformation. As we make bold moves to tap into our wild creativity and deep compassion, we can change the way change itself happens by creating movements that are regenerative, loving, and visionary.
