Chelsea MacMillan is an activist, spiritual director, writer, co-founder of the Brooklyn Center for Sacred Activism, and co-host of The Rising: Spirituality for Revolution, a podcast for sacred activists. As a Minister for the Spiritual-But-Not-Religious, Chelsea offers spiritual direction and guidance to those who desire to make a difference in shifting the consciousness of humanity. With her training in interfaith education (ordained in 2015 by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary), energy work, intuitive development, music, and more, Chelsea brings a multi-faceted and integrated approach to both individual and group sessions. Chelsea was a cohort of the 2017 Spiritual Direction practicum at Still Harbor and of the 2019 Living School, led by Richard Rohr and Cynthia Bourgeault.
Chelsea's own spiritual path took twists and turns for many years before her "official" training. A singer and performer, Chelsea received an invaluable education in the human spirit while she toured for six years teaching music and dance to kids all over the world. She witnessed and experienced firsthand a universal consciousness that expresses itself in breathtakingly beautiful ways across nationality, skin color, language, class, age, etc. Chelsea's spiritual education has also been shaped by five seasons as a seasonal staff member at the Omega Institute. Aware of the fabric of divine love and intelligence all around her, Chelsea channels spirit into whatever she does, whether it's spiritual direction, singing, writing, ceremonies, or activism.
